I'm trying to put together a guide for the number of airmiles to fly to certain places. ie: Toronto to Boston or Ottawa to Hawaii or etc.... However, living out west I only have access to the western provinces including: BC, AB, SK, MB.

If you live out east, know your airmiles login information (at airmiles.ca) and are somewhat computer savvy... or at least internet browser savvy. Please contact me. Airmiles has a PDF guide for the number of miles for redemption and I'd like to get that eastern version. It should only take 1-2 minutes for your assistance!

Note: At the end of step 6 it says to use your non-discounted receipt to get your tax receipt. As Charles from Vancouver mentioned this is actually not legal. However, I do condone giving the food to charities though!

To become a gold aimiles collector

• Collect 1000 airmiles
• Shop at 5 different merchants who give out airmiles (safeway, A&P, Metro, Rona, Boston Pizza, etc..)

To check how many airmiles you have simply log into your airmiles account at airmiles.ca.  You can also check by calling them but you might be on hold for a while and it's not really worth it unless you're booking a flight.

A gold airmiles collector gets a few bonuses... it's nothing really THAT fantastic, however, most people who read this blog can easily get 1000 airmiles in a year.  For me personally, it's hard to shop at the 6 merchants!
