Well, a new challenge has started. It's called the BP Solar Decathlon. The Challenge. To build a house completely livable, usable, energy-efficient and solar powered house. How's that for a challenge? 20 Universities from around the world have designed these solar powered houses. The event culminates in a week-long competition on the National Mall in Washington, DC and occurs from October 11–19. As part of the event the sponsor, BP, has created a website where all the teams can blog about their experiences.

This is a really neat idea and could really make some sort of head way into the world. Solar powered houses are already readily available, however, the initial cost is usually too high for the average consumer. However, this sort of event should shed some light (pun-intended) into the efficacy of solar powered houses.

I took this review because I'm looking to possibly buy some bar stools in the next little while and Bar Stools are a great way to make a social kitchen environment. And the kitchen is a large part of this website.

Atlantic Inkjet is an online site that specializes in inexpensive inkjet cartridges. These ink cartridges range from all types of brands including HP, Lexmark, Cannon and Epson to name a few.

The Atlantic Inkjet site is laid out sorta strange. At the top left you can choose your brand of printer. Then when you click on the printer brand and it simply brings up a quick briefing of that particular brand. For example when you click on Lexmark you get

Lexmark Ink Cartridges, Bulk Ink, Refill Kits, Lexmark toner cartridges and Recycled Cartridges for your Lexmark inkjet printer!

I would think that once you click the brand that you'd be able to choose from a variety of cartridges. Upon further review you CAN actually click on a link afterwards. I just think simply shifting this up or making the link more availble would help someone find the information sooner.

I do like the format when you simply click on the links on the left below the brand type. This includes choosing by cartridge, printer, toner cartridge, refil kits, etc.

As well, I really like the way that the site has a flashing image talking about free shipping.

So what is this SWAPSHOP all about? From their website

So basically it's a place to get rid of your old unwanted electronics and books. This seems very similar to Switchplanet.com which I wrote a review about and you can read here. The main difference is being located in the UK (which also has airmiles reward miles as a side note). Apparently there is over 1000 DVDs, Video Games, Music Cds and Books already listed on the SwapShop site and 100s more are listed every day. So you might be able to find something you're interested in.

One question I usually have when I see a site like this is what's the process I have to go to actually start swapping? Well, SWAPSHOP has done a great job summarizing this right on the front page of the website (I likey!).
