Lots of great airmiles deals this week so time to stock up on your airmiles!

This past May 18th, my wife, Elaine Ryshak, flew from Vancouver airport to Regina. She returned on June 2nd/2009
I had forgot to question the salesperson on the phone, when I was booking and paying for this arrangement, via BMO Mastercard, what air miles I would earn. When I did phone in June, I was told that you no longer gave out air miles after Dec. 31, 2008. And I was not informed at the time of booking, I could ‘use’ what air miles I had. Yet, going through your websites today, for July you are still saying we can use airmiles for flights in Canada. We are not knowlegeable about using airmiles to travel by airplane.
We are NOT frequent flyers. We are both pensioners. We have saved air miles, but never used them for flying anywhere. Yet, I see you are still using airmiles on your websites. Why? And why didn’t your employees inform me what alternative would be available when I phoned in June? Also, in May, she could have asked if I had any airmiles to use. Very strange to me,as you are still using the air miles for July 2009.
All my workinng career of forty years and dealing with people directly, I was never selective of what I told them.
I honestly don’t understand why people are not polite in offering information that I may not think to ask.
