Are you a Gold Airmiles Collector?
BE SURE TO CHECK THE DATE OF THE COUPON/POST - Old posts are NOT removed as they must remain in-order for you to find this site and the most recent deals. That's the question of the day. Are you a Gold Airmiles Collector? Do you know how to find out if you are one? What are the benefits of being a gold air miles collector?
A Gold Airmiles Collector is a person who is able to
- Collect airmiles at 5 different store locations. This is a super simple thing to accomplish and I'll name 10 locations right now (Safeway, Shell, Rona, WestJet, Budget Rent-a-car, Boston Pizza, and Airmilesshops.ca. Through Airmilesshops.ca you can actually collect from many different companies (Dell Canada, chapters.indigo.ca, Expedia, Amazon
, Apple Store, TigerDirect, eBay.ca, etc...) collecting at $20 per airmile.
- Collect 1000 airmiles in a calendar year. (I finished my 1,000 within the first 4 months of the year by simply shopping during the weeks best airmiles deals.)
How do you find out if you've qualified?
Simply login to your airmiles acount and click on the Gold Rewards Link. (I usually just do a search for Gold and click the link that it finds)
Once you've found this the website will tell you your current progress towards the Gold Program.
What are the benefits of being a gold member?
- The best way to answer this question is to simply copy and paste from the airmiles website.
- Up to 40% off the number of AIR MILES reward miles required for selected flights - updated monthly on airmiles.ca.
- Save up to 700 AIR MILES reward miles on a selection of packages and tours offered by Transat Holidays, Trafalgar Tours, Insight Vacations and Contiki Holidays.
- 10% off paid companion tickets booked on Air Canada and Northwest Airlines.
- Exciting GOLD merchandise specials available for 25% fewer reward miles.
Being a gold member is definitely a good deal especially considering it's very little additional work. Just make sure that you always use your airmiles card and keep on collecting those miles.

Unfortunately I have misplaced (not lost, but cannot find my
card anywhere in my home) my airmiles card. My husand’s
no. is 8000 255 8904, Roy Ward 02/94. Is here a way you
could send me the amount of airmiles collected, as we are
planning a trip very soon. Also I could obviously use a new
card in case I do not locate the older card.
Second query – The Bay used to give AirMiles, when this
was discontinued they offered to have ‘their’ points if
customer asked sent to Airmiles as before. I wonder if this
has continued as I have hoped? Appreciate knowing the answer
as I use the Bay frequently
Hi,
I have a question about the gold collector status. If I obtain 1000 points from 5 companies in 2008… does that make me a gold collector for 2008 or for 2009?
I initially thought it made me a gold collector for 2008, but I saw the following on the website today:
“It”s easy to qualify for GOLD Status each and every year! To remain a GOLD Collector NEXT year, simply earn a total of 1,000 reward miles at 5 different Sponsors during THIS calendar year.”
I was wondering if you could clear this up for me.
Thank you,
Paula
I am writing to you to inform you of a needed correction on my personal airmiles card. Looking at my airmiles card the apostrophee has been missed (ok with that) but their should be no space between:
example (card looks) mr. darrell o neil (incorrect)
should look like: mr. darrell oneil (correct) when leaving out the apostrophee. Would you please send out a new airmiles card indication change. Thank you.
Ok i might be an idiot but in order to get gold status would i need 1000 points at 5 different stores so my total would be 5000 points or would i need 1000 points in total optioned at by collecting at 5 different stores for simplicity sake 200 points at each store to make 1000 ?
Umm.. I know your not the air miles site but….. As a loyal customer would you please send me a new card.
Thank you air miles team
