My Westjet Experience!
This is in NO WAY a paid review. It is my experience with Westjet and Airmiles during my last flight.
I called Airmiles to book a flight to Vancouver on June 4th.  My travel dates were June 15th - 17th so I called 11 days in advance. The dates for travel were apparently fairly booked and was offered Friday at 8am or 9am and returning on Sunday at 8am or 9am.  Not really the best times to fly but I wanted these dates so I said yes.
These dates also coincided with the some travel specials from Westjet. I said yes to the flights and was charged a total of $140.34 and 1100 airmiles.  The flights themselves were going to cost me $97 each way. So I got an airmiles-to-dollar ratio of $5.67, which, is better then most airmiles gift certificates.  My flight on westjet would have otherwise worked out to $334 (total).
The flight itself was the best flight I've ever been on. The westjet staff was super helpful and friendly.  The flight attendants were the most entertaining that I've ever seen.  We even played a fun game where they gave out a prize bag!   I definitely recommend Westjet over any other airline.  All in all it was a great trip and worth spending the airmiles.

We recently flew WestJet to Las Vegas.
The flights were on time and everything went smoothly.
On our return flight to Vancouver we hit a few turbulences around Boise ID. The Captain was on the P.A. to let everyone know that we had hit “clear air” turbulence and that as a precaution he was going to leave the seat belt sign on for a bit. Then he paused and said actually what happened was the Jason, the co-pilot had put the wheels in the ditch but he had it back on the paved road again. He the pilot would make sure Jason paid more attention and was sure it wouldn’t happen a second time.
A little humor but a lot of reassurance for the passengers.
