Collecting Airmiles and Shopping Smartly
Airmiles are a great way to collect points (or miles) to receive a free flight or merchandise.  I've been able to guide you to collecting airmiles as cheaply as possible. However, one of the considerations that we must realize is the cost of shopping with the sole purchase of buying airmiles.
For example:  This weeks best airmiles deals included shaving cream buy 4 get 50 airmiles. However, the cost of the shaving cream was $3.00.  Is this a good price for shaving cream? (I'm not entirely sure as I don't like the areosol cans and perfer using the old-fashion shaving soap).  The best way to answer this is what does Walmart charge for the same product?  I believe the cost is around $2.77 (or something close to that).
On this product you'll be paying an extra $0.23 to have the opportunity to collect airmiles. You must consider if this is worth it? This isn't a large difference, however, sometimes the difference is rather large. If you are on a tight budget looking to collect airmiles cheaply and save money then this might not be the best option.
With each special or weeks best deal you must consider if buying these products are in your best interest. Sometimes the products are a really good deal and you get lots of airmiles (for example: the ABC laundry detergent).  With each weeks best deals consider if you are willing to pay a bit more to collect the airmiles.
