I just looked and you definitely CAN redeem for HBC gift cards. The rate is 440 Air Miles for $50. You ust redeem at the airmiles.ca website or through the phone at 1-888-airmiles

This is a personal blog you’ve emailed and not Airmiles, unfortunately. My only advice is speaker phone. I usually just leave it on, cook dinner, watch tv, etc… but not make it my priority as it just takes so long. The other option is that you can redeem them online.

I have been waiting on the phone to get Certificates for the last hour and no one has answered. What a joke.
