Airmiles Credit Cards
Air Miles Credit Cards are a way to quickly earn Airmiles while making purchases that you normally would. There are many MANY different types of Airmiles credit cards with either Mastercard or American Express. Selecting which Credit Card you'd like is not simple and you should select based on your best guess of you're monthly/yearly spending.
There has been many articles, conversations and arguements about the validity and use of the Air Miles Credit card. Whether it's really useful, the best deal or actually worth it at all. So before selecting which card to use it's best to do a bit of research. However, if you're not getting any sort of 'reward' for using a credit card then obviously this is a better deal then you already have.
You're probably asking. How do I fly free fastest with a credit card? How do I choose which card? Is it worth it? Gold, Silver or Bronze? So many questions.
I will answer all these questions in time. However, today I'll discuss how to 'fly free fastest with a credit card'.
The easiest and fastest way to fly free is to sign up for the GOLD WestJet and Mosaik® MasterCard®. You can get to the Westjet website where you can read the fine print or the terms and conditions of the WestJet and Mosaik® MasterCard®.
To summarize, the Gold Westjet Credit card basically requires you to pay $80 annually. However, this allows you to
- fly for maximum 1,600 Airmiles to Continental North America (that Westjet fly's)
- Earn Air Miles at 1 for every $15 dollars spent.
and other benefits which i'll summarize later.
Obviously this is a great deal to fly for no more then 1600 Air Miles as some flights cost up to 6000 Air Miles. So you are easily able to collect 1,600 Air Miles and fly for free.
To compare: Assuming you collect Air Miles at $0.40 per airmile (Simple using this website).
- 1600 Airmiles @ .40/airmile = $640 <--- Cost in groceries of your free flight
- 6000 Airmiles @.40/airmile = $2400 <--- Cost in groceries of your free flight
As you can see you'll be flying places in a quarter of the time that you normally would. So if you can collect 1,600 Airmiles a year then the small fee of $80 is worth the free trip.
